Are you a teacher, teaching assistant, music educator or someone who delivers music education in schools, who loves to sing?

Join Suffolk Teachers’ Choir - a welcoming, no-pressure choir run by Suffolk County Music Service.

• Sing in a relaxed, supportive environment

• No audition – all abilities and experience levels welcome

• A chance to focus on your own wellbeing and enjoyment of music

What: Be ready to sing and sign! Bring a hot cup for a drink, beverages and biscuits provided.

Where is it taking place?

The next session will be held in Ipswich.

Ipswich location - Northgate Arts Centre, Sidegate Lane West, Ipswich IP4 3DF

When are these sessions?

Sessions are held on Saturday mornings from 10.15am - 12.15pm. You can attend as many or as few as you wish.

If once registered, you want to add more dates, you can do so by emailing county.musicservice@suffolk.gov.uk

Is there a charge for attending?

These sessions are heavily subsidised by Suffolk County Music Service.

If you are an Initial Teacher Training student or an Early Career Teacher you can attend any of the sessions free of charge.

For Teaching Assistants or Teachers or Music Practitioners who attend a Suffolk School and are not retired, there will be a small charge of £8 per session in advance or £10 on the day.

How do I sign up?

In order to attend on Saturday 14 March 2026 or any of these sessions, we need you to complete the registration form at the link below:

Once you have registered, to attend further sessions, then please email us at county.musicservice@suffolk.gov.uk and we can add you on :)

How do I pay?

When you have completed the registration form, a link to the payments page will be on the confirmation message.

You will need to pay in advance for the number of sessions that you have signed up for. Additional sessions can be added by emailing county.musicservice@suffolk.gov.uk

If you need the payment link after you have closed the confirmation message then please follow the instructions below to make your payment:-

Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the details required on the Music Payment screen. Ensure that in the 'How much do i want to pay' box that you input the amount for the number of sessions you have signed up for (£8 x number of sessions)
