Hire an instrument

Suffolk County Music Service offers an enormous range of instruments available to hire for children and young people. Please see a list of instruments via the box at the bottom of the page.

Instrument Hire is free for all Children in Care (CiC), Looked After Children (LAC), Previously Looked After Children (PLAC), and children in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM).

How to hire an instrument

Read the conditions below and then complete the Instrument hire request form.
You will receive an email acknowledgement of your request. Please check your junk/spam folders if the email is not in your inbox.
When your request has been processed, the Music Service will contact you to confirm if an instrument is available and with payment and collection instructions.
