Following on from a busy & successful day at the Suffolk Show on 30^th May, where visitors to our stand were able to enjoy experiences with a selection of musical instruments, enter our amazing prize draw and ask us questions about what we can offer children and young people across the county, while accompanied by performances by Suffolk Youth Wind Orchestra, Suffolk County Music Service certainly has a full summer of activities:

• Our Gamelan will be on the beach for the First Light Festival, Lowestoft on Saturday 22 & Sunday 23 June

• Joint Suffolk Youth Music Concert, St Mary’s Church, Bury St Edmunds on Saturday 29 June

• Suffolk Youth Jazz Orchestra will be performing at Ipswich Music Day on Sunday 7 July

• Suffolk Youth Orchestra Prom Concert at Snape Maltings 1st August

• We will be at FolkEast on 16, 17 & 18 August, Glemham Hall

• Tour Rehearsals are here at Northgate Arts Centre from 20th -23rd July and the County Music Groups then go on their European tours to Vicenza & Metz!

• Suffolk’s finest, Suffolk Youth Orchestra return again to Snape for their Gala Performance on Sunday 1st September
